Citykirche, Mönchengladbach: Interior

Posted by
MadScientist (Düsseldorf, Germany) on 30 April 2013 in Architecture.

Entering Mönchengladbach's Citykirche (former Assumption of Mary). It was open, but being in a state of transformation it still was still a construction site, soon to be dedicated to pastoral care and thus becoming a meeting place for non-regular churchgoers. The featured religious art was both spectacular and disturbing.

And here's another window image of this church.

Yes, I could live quite happily there, what magnificence, very rarely seen this side of
the world, superb !~
