misty fireworks

Finally managed to have a camera in hand at start of the fireworks - and everything disappeared in the mist! Minutes later it was all cloudy. Celebrations in my city: a difficult topic.

@Michael: Dir auch, danke! Nach etwa fünf Minuten sah man nichts mehr, alles war voller Rauch und stank nach Schwefel *hust* :-)

@Ina: Thanks! Five mins later everything disappeared in fog, smoke and sulfur stink *cough* :-)

Das hast du echt schön eingefangen. Ich weiß wie schwierig das ist, ein gutes Silvesterfoto zu machen und das so rüberzubringen, wie man möchte. Toll gemacht!

@Eliza: Danke schön! Ich habe die Kamera einfach aufs Stativ gepflanzt, 4 Sekunden Belichtungszeit eingestellt, Blende 10 (glaube ich) und dann nur noch ausgelöst. Wäre schön gewesen, wenn das ganze etwas pächtiger geworden wäre - aber Düsseldorf ist nun mal nicht Sydney ;-)
