Succulent Close-up

I actually don't know the right name of this plant but I love its delicate colours. Unfortunately, squirrels and jaybirds were not very cautious with it when searching for food, so this plant has to recover in spring. I'll protect it better, I promise :-)

@Penny: Succus are somewhat easier to shoot because their leaves don't move in the wind. :-)

@HorseRotorVator: Thanks! This year I'll try more experiments with new variegated plants. There's that Athyrium niponicum and the big Agave... :-)

@JustShenn: I think you're right. Plant and pot are quite small - I hope it will grow vigorously and overlap the pot this year.

@Michael: Danke :-) In diesem Fall ist es aber weniger ein gutes Foto als vielmehr das Ergebnis optimalen Düngens.

my first reaction was "luscious!" The colours and shapes and implied juiciness of the plant are great. Though you may feel guilty about the small creatures munching on it, the damage probably expanded the range of colours!
