S Croce in Gerusalemme, Rome, Italy

Posted by MadScientist (Düsseldorf, Germany) on 19 January 2008 in Art & Design and Portfolio.

This painting on the ceiling of the nave of S Croce in Gerusalemme represents the "Madonna that presents St. Elena and Costantine to the Holy Trinity", executed by Corrado Giaquinto, ca. 1744.
Exposure was difficult here because of a mixture of natural and artificial lighting.
