Sempervivum!

Well... I'm sure they would be able to live eternally, but these little louts just won't allow that!

These plants bring back memories but I can't recall what their common name was.

@cromlechi: There are many: the common English name would be hen and chicks / chicken, or houseleek. In former times people used to grow them on the roof, therefore its common German name is Hauswurz or Dachwurz (rooting on the roof / house). They are nice little plant, easy to grow and almost indestructible.

@Michael: *dozier* Nein, Fetthennen gehören zwar auch in die Familie der Crassulaceae, bilden aber eine eigene Gattung namens Sedum. Die Pflänzchen hier sind alle vom Typ Sempervivum (Dach- oder Hauswurz). Alles klar? ;-)
