Three eras of architecture and religion at one sight, this kind of luxury kindly delivered by the Forum Romanum. From left to right: the Roman Colosseum and the romanesque tower and early baroque facade of Santa Francesca Romana.
The lighting helps emphasize the age of these structures, I like the contrast between the different architectural styles.

@Steven: I guess almost all stones used for that portal were coming from the Colosseum, as it's the same marble type.

@Laurie: Actually, it's just a pair: the church to the right both consists of the tower and portal (and everything between).
