Your beaten Madscientist lies in bed, fevered and coughing, but nonetheless I'll present you another image of fabulous Il Gesù, the Jesuit's main cathedral in Rome. I've already shown a photo of it a few weeks ago.
(Edit: I've been using the wrong accent for weeks - of course it's Il Gesù. Now it's correct :-)
This is lovely. You have caught the fine details and a wonderful effect of an arch.

@Michael Skorulski: Thank you, Michael! In my opinion this is one of the most spectacular churches. Others might be bigger or more important to Christianity, but this one provides visual impressions that are unforgetable. I have another shot of the whole nave which I will present in the next few days.
The Romans know how to do it in giant! I like it!

@Michael: Danke, so langsam werde ich wieder :) Ich hatte das Bild erst im Querformat, aber dann sah ich, wieviele Details durch die Verkleinerung verloren gingen, also: hochkant!
