Because you enjoyed it so much, we'll stay a little bit longer at this beautiful church. This is a look behind, we're standing just before the altar and look back. Note the fine baroque organ! (Detail 1, Detail 2, yesterday's view).
Another beautiful view, MD. I'm yearning to find some ornately-decorated churches now!

@Steven: Keep chasing that rainbow, Steven :-) Churches like this one are extraordinary, even in Bavaria! Many older ones were destroyed in several wars, lost their interior equipment and treasures, or were completely rebuilt. Some corners of the world just were lucky for the last 400 years, like this one.
Lovely placement of the organ with the window in the middle. Nice image.

@Michael Skorulski: Thanks! I don't know the details about this organ, but chances are high that it's an original from the 17th century. Unfortunately, nobody was playing it when I was there.

@MaryB: Thanks, MaryB! When I enter a church I sort of make myself at home and try to understand the room. While churches in Rome often are built for overwhelming the beholder, these Bavarian churches tend to be more 'homelike'. In the next few days I'll show some 'sober' churches and I'm looking forward to your comments :-)
