This photo could have been made better, but I had just an hour and the light was very poor at that December day when the photo was made. A few weeks before traveling to Rome I wanted to do some experimental shots in churches to learn how to handle difficult light situations like this one. It's not too good, but also not bad enough to get discarded.

The church you can see here is St. Elisabeth, Bonn, Germany, a very fine neo-Romanesque building from 1910. It's not as spectacular as the Italian churches I've presented here, but nonetheless a very harmonious building with a beautiful medieval character. A remarkable feature is the big chandelier above the crossing.
