Another beautiful house, located in the city of Bonn, Germany. Some years ago my wife dreamt that we would be living in that dome roof. I still think this is not a bad idea! One would have a beautiful view of Bonn downtown and living in a round chamber would be extraordinary! Maybe later :-)
How awesome! Like the two different colors of the building.

@Ina: It has been refurbished just a few years ago. Quite a dominating building!
I agree. I love domes too. This is a great image of a very beautiful building.

@Michael Skorulski: Thank you, Michael! There are lots of old buildings in Bonn, but this one I find really outstanding. If you happen to visit Bonn, don't forget to visit the "Südstadt", a quarter south of Bonn's downtown: it's very beautiful with a lot of old buildings and trees.
Beautiful lighting and I love green dome against the blue sky. I love buildings like this they have so much character.

@MaryB: Yes, they do. They are like old friends, it's always a pleasure to look at them. I'm always wondering about the people who might have lived in these houses and the stories that happened there.
Why restrict yourself to the dome? Why not just take over the whole place?

@Twelvebit: The Rhineland is crowded like Bangladesh: wherever you go, somebody else is already there. So are things in Bonn and this lovely house... :-)
That beautiful ancient house has o lot of character and i understand your wife !!! But i imagine the price.... we have also incredible buildings in Paris and everybody dreams living inside............. but just some of us have this privilege.

@Evelyne Dubos: Yes, I know! My blog entry of today summarizes the experiences with old buildings I was living in so far, it's a story with very mixed exmotions :-)
Gorgeous shot and perfect lighting. Lots of windows! ;0) When are you going to send me one to share??? Just kidding, no pressure!!

@Tracey: I knew you would like it :-) I'll search for window photos, I'm sure I have something for you!
You could photograph in a circular from the different windows.

@JoeB: That would be a definite benefit :-) However, I'm not sure if that dome wouldn't be too dark, the windows are quite small.
AWESOME lightning!

@M. Isabel: Thank you, glad you like it! It was a very bright and sunny day I had a lot of fun :-)
You managed a very enticing take of this old beautiful building! Good use of light and those branches!

@Japanalia: This is one of my favourite houses in Bonn. Light was great and I had a good sight, so time has been coming to make a nice photo.
