Weather was cold but sunny. Before it's too late and its flowers start to wither let's have another look at my acacia. Aaaah, colours of evergreens! Wished I could have a glimpse at the past forests of Gondwana!

@the lightwriter: One of the few colour spots on my balcony in winter. I really love this plant for its elegance and colours :)
I love the lit up yellow balls! The whole image is so much enhanced by the blue of the sky! And the angle you chose makes the tree look like bowing to whisper to the viewer!

@Japanalia: This is one of my favourite plants. When the flower bulbs emerge in November I'm looking foward to all these flowers in February and March. It's a real ray of hope in winter, when all other plants are still asleep.

Wonderful colors! And a very nice tree... It is also great the contrast between the Acacia, all full of flowers, and the leafless-cold-looking trees in the background!

@juant3: I've seen photos of acacias growing in Hamburg without special winter care - perhaps a plant for you too? (They're frost hardy to -7°C once they're established).
