Blechnum gibbum, FrondPosted by MadScientist (Düsseldorf, Germany) on 15 May 2008 in Plant & Nature. A small tree fern, growing surprisingly well outdoors, though this species is coming from the tropics. Here it is surrounded by many other ferns: Dryopteris erythrosora (that small reddish frond top left), Onoclea sensibilis (top), Asplenium scolopendrium (middle right), Dryopteris affinis (bottom). Download my coffee-table book of selected postings here. Enjoy!
