Fitting to the weather of the bygone days: Sant'Agnese in Agone reflected in a puddle at Piazza Navona, Rome.
The church was closed and an ugly scaffold had been erected at its facade, rain had fallen recently, so I made this puddle shot. Well, sunny days will come again.
cheers

@majid: Thanks for dropping by! :-)
I like these kind of reflection images. This is nice - the B&W suits the mood perfectly.

@olli: Thanks! Wenn es in Rom regnet, dann schüttet es aus Kübeln. Paßt zum Wetter dieser Tage - leider!
Very creative!

@Margie: Thanks, Margie! That's the kind of photo you get when you try to get something out of nothing ;-)
Suits what's going on, the reflection is like pieces of a puzzle.

@JoeB: That puddle was quite big: it reflected almost the whole church!
Fabulous mosaic effect of the church reflection. A wonderful shot MS.

@MaryB: Thank you! I would have preferred better weather though... :-)
Very creative shot using the water to capture the church.

@Observing: No problem with the big puddles of Rome in winter :-D
Interesting filter used here. I think you accomplished the task well where it is left up to us to "perceive" the beauty, rather than seeing tools and other obstructions that can mar what we see.

@Steven: Thanks! As I've already written in response to Mary's comment, I would have preferred sunshine though - Piazza Navona in the sun is way better than with a dark sky!
Very very nice!

@Ina: Thanks very much!
Super!

Very reflective.

@Twelvebit: The puddle or me? ;-)
Nice reflexion. Like how paving makes like a mosaic.

@Evelyne Dubos: The environmental conditions were fortunate :) Thanks!
Very nice reflections with the textures of the pavment. Very good.

@akarui: Thank you! Sunshine and an open church wouldn't have been bad, either :)
Excellent reflections!

@Jen: Hope that the sun is shining when I'll be revisiting this place :)
Hi, again! I like this artistic shot! Professional one!

@Porcsin: Hey, Mr. Porcsin, glad you're back! Artistic, well... after all I tried to make some pictures of that church, but bad weather and a scaffold defeated that. Photographing the puddle was the best thing I could do here :)
I looked at it before and....I forgot go leave a message! ( I look at ALL your photos, though I might not leave messages at every one of them!) Like Porcsin mentioned above, IT IS a most artistically shot reflection and the choice of tonality gives it a special appearance! I love what you did here!

@Japanalia: Thanks a lot! Though that day my plans were different (I wanted to see the church's interior) I'm glad that my workaround is so well-liked. :-)
Clever...and very well executed.
