We've seen it without flowers, recovering after several squirrel visits and now in full bloom.

@Kent: Thanks, Kent! Glad you enjoy it!
Very nice looking plant and a nice color too. I like the light and background on this, could it be on a porch or in a potting shed...?

@Observing: Yes, this is one of our balcony flowers. Not really suitable for a pot as it wants a lot of space on the ground.
An array of amazing detail and lovely color. I like it.

@Michael Skorulski: I was really curious how these flowers would look like, last year it didn't want to flower. Thanks, Michael.

@Laurie: Thanks, Laurie! This one is quite hardy, it survived our winter (wet, cold but not much frost) without problems. Leaves change their colour during the seasons. Very attractive!
Lovely

@Jen: Thanks :)
An interesting color here, MS. The flowers seem to have a glowing effect. The detail is good on the stamen(s) as well.

@Japanalia: This one required some suppleness as our balcony turned into sort of botanical garden and our green friends got quite large. It wasn't easy to find the right position for making this photo :-)
Squirrel attacks? Do they eat this plant or is there just something about it that pisses them off?

@Twelvebit: They do what they can best: they're digging holes into the soil of our pots and tubs. You can imaginge how delicate plants like this look like after such a 'treatment'!
