Potpourri - The Gameshow

Okay.
Are you excited?
Like hell! (Laughter from Audience)
Yeahhhh, I would be that tooooo! (Smiles) Ha, ha! (Laughter from Audience) This is a small section from MadScientists balcony. Here's the question: (Loud:) What - are - these - plants?!
Okay.... alright... Well, the one in the middle is.... We can see here a Lavandula stoechas (middle), a small Rhododendron (right from the lavender, almost hidden), an Araucaria heterophylla (foreground, right), a Matteuccia struthiopteris (below the lavender), and a Washingtonia robusta (waving its leaf left from the lavender).
Are you finished?
Well... yes!
Oooooh, Judie! Sooo bad! There's a big maple tree in the background! Never mind, you'll get a nice plastic bag with lots of advertising gifts! See you next time!
Aargh!

@Laurent: Thanks, Laurent! This shot was done in May, when the sun was shining. Weather forecast promised better weather as of today - now it's raining again! Argh!

@Lorraine: The whatchamightcallit is just a small palm tree with quite big leaves. Doesn't grow in Canada :-P
