Standing at yesterday's position we're turning back and look into the nave. The organ at the gallery is made by the renowned Klais Orgelbau company that resides just a few streets away. Considering the reverberation effect of 7-8 seconds in that room there must be very good acoustics. (Here's the view from the other side.)
I don't know for the acoustic, but for picture it is not so bad ;o)

@Laurent: Thanks, Laurent! :-)
I like the simple elegance of this church, especially the white arches. Lovely.

@Michael Skorulski: Simple elegance describes it best. There are more details that I'll show later and that you'll probably like. :-)
Mannfred this shot is truly beautiful, there are so many details to look at here. The high arches and pillars are wonderful.

@Observing: Glad you like it! You can see that this is a rather 'clean' architecture, as this church is not stuffed up with the remnants of former centuries. This is quite unusual, giving the probably 'poor' impression. But this was intended.
The Artistry is Divine, as it should be...and how well you took it ;)

@Evelyne Dubos: The pleasure is all mine! :-)
I really like the earth tones inside this church. The browns and blues together on one of my favorite combinations. You have captured its glory beautifully!

@Ekaputra Tupamahu: Definitely, it survived both world wars absolutely untouched and is still a beauty. :-)
I favour the other view you posted on July 1st.

@Japanalia: Well, this is what the priest sees when he's looking from his side. But there are other details he may also notice that I didn't show you yet. Later. :-)
What a beautiful sanctuary. Great job with the exposure and composition.

@Laurie: Thanks! That was indeed a rare circumstance when I had enough time and the sun was just right.
A much warmer view toward the back. It must be all the woodwork I see. I love the symmetry and repitition with the arches and the aisle has a great pattern to it.

@Steven: Now imagine subdued sounds from outside (birds, playing children, few traffic) and you have an idea of the atmosphere in this peaceful room.
This another great shot of this church, you should look into taking panoramas of all the churches you do.

@JoeB: I know, but that would mean to have a tripod at hand and a good software to combine the images. Do you know one (for Mac)?
love the symmetry. Stunning. Absolutely stunning.

@Carlos Palma: Thanks! Much appreciated!
We should comment on the photo and the photo is very good. The control of light is superb, we can see every detail. The church is an elegant neo-Gothic.

@António Pires: Thanks very much, António, I'm pleased to read that!
