We had this software installation. Multi-tiered, lots of servers, a backend host. Java, 64 Bit Windows, Websphere, z/OS. Five consultants from the company the software comes from. An 'early adopter' programme, my company is one of the first enjoying the benefits of this brand-new software. Our schedule: one week for installation, the other week for migration and performance tests.
Week #1 is almost over. When we ended our installation orgy yesterday and finally tried to start the freshly configured software, we produced nothing but a plethora of error messages. Our schedule is tight. I wonder if I'm going to see small droplets of sweat in the faces of our consulants.
A perfect situation for imagining a day at Tegernsee lake. Hiring a boat. Lying in the sun.
Peace and beauty

@Marie Le Corre: So true! Only that heavy car traffic around the lake (when weekend tourists from Munich are invading) is a problem.
You are RIGHT!!! This is THE PLACE to be right now! (not like I am doing riding trains and subways here and there in search of documents I have to take with me in my coming trip to Romania! There were 35 deg.C to day, possibly more in Tokyo......but tonight we have the Big Show from Beijing! At least something to look forward in this heat!) The image is just a wonderful postcard that it might still come true for YOU!

@Japanalia: Many thanks, Gabriela! I was there last year and found it quite pleasing. When you're in Bavaria, you might stay there for a while, you'll like it. :-)
What a beautiful tranquil shot! Definately the opposite of work. Where is Tegernsee Lake?? Lovely dreamy image:-))

@Linerberry: It's here, not far away from Munich.

@Evelyne Dubos: Ooooh, Evelyne, this was just a fantasy! :-) Today I was sitting in my office and we did some error-checking.
It is a delightful place, and you may dream... for now, but Monday start error checking :-0 Super image MS

@dj.tigersprout: All plans are done, I just should be there now! :-)
Great spot, very similar to places here. We seem to put up a lot with computers, any other product we would have thrown out long ago.

@JoeB: As long as I can make money with this I'm fine with it. :-D Really annoying are just these unexpected errors...
A beautiful picture combining lake and mountains with sports. A feeling of vacation indeed.

@akarui: You bet! :-D
After that experience, that looks like the perfect escape. Lovely. Good luck with the issues.

@Laurie: They are solved, thank goodness! It was an application bug that took the wrong IP address... - no, you don't want to hear that! ;-)
Similar to what's going on in an agency related to my work except they're on a much more liberal schedule, and failing.
