@Linerberry: I think your country is much more blessed with untouched nature, this little park is a complete exception inmidst agriculturally used area and spoilt areas.

Beautiful dappled shade, it looks a wonderful place for a relaxing walk.

@Tracey: You're welcome! The Rhododendron shrubs there are quite old: the first ones were planted in the early 18th century, when English gardens became popular among German aristocrats.
@Kaddy: Owners there are proud of their sustainable cultivation of their forest.

@JoeB: Definitely! For a change there was no rain, but the Rhine river is not far away, providing enough humidity.

@Jen: Yes, definitely. Additionally, this park is in a much better condition than the public parks in Düsseldorf.
@akarui: Yes, one of my favourite places here in the region.
