Fränkli, anyone?Posted by MadScientist (Düsseldorf, Germany) on 8 October 2008 in Architecture and Portfolio. If you wonder why the crisis is virtually happening everywhere (or if it will happen to your country in the next few weeks), I recommend this Washington Post article, that shows very well the coherences of the crisis. In one of my favourite blogs the question was discussed whether it would make sense to exchange as much money as possible to Swiss franks. Some actually did, writing that it was hard for them to get more then 10.000 CHF at one go. Some of these people obviously enjoy doomsday scenarios, just waiting for the perfect moment to let everybody know: "I've been telling you!" I think this is scaremongering. And even if you manage to get some Fränkli, it won't be enough to survive for, say, a year or two. However, it would be a good idea to use the backyard for some useful plants. Stories about bankers and managers commiting suicide or killing their families and themselves could make one sit up though.
