Münsterplatz, Bonn

It was no social day. Weather was fine, and despite many construction sites and the proliferating imponderableness of the railway we arrived almost in time. But the streets of the small city were crowded, people were hectic, and we learned that it wasn't the right day for being there. It couldn't be helped. But at least we could take some photos.

The larger than life-sized gentleman on the pedestal is Ludwig van Beethoven, who was born in Bonn.

@gandz: Bonn is a city of slow development. I've been living there for ten years and the only real change that happened there were the consequences of German reunification, when Bonn lost its role as capital of Western Germany.
