St. Elisabeth, Bonn, AltarPosted by MadScientist (Düsseldorf, Germany) on 15 November 2008 in Art & Design. A Jesus altar in a side aisle of my favourite dark church. There were only two weak spotlights above the altar. I kneeled down, stopped breathing and took three shots. At original resolution this image more resembles an oil painting than a photograph, but after a bit of processing I think the result is acceptable. My (old) coffee-table book of selected postings. @PD: I'm rather experienced in tremble-free usage of my camera even at longer exposures. :-) @JoeB: "The noise adds fantasy." - The Daily Photographer ;-) @Observing: I have one more (but only from outside). Maybe something I should shoot more often. @JustShenn: You would like it, it's a nice, quiet place. @Twelvebit: And why? :-) |
