Hemionitis arifolia

This fern with its heart-shaped leaves is rather easy to grow but it's not so easy to retain its beauty, as the leaves quickly become unsightly under not so perfect conditions. Apart from that, it's an astonishingly tough plant that gets along with rainy German summers and cooler temperatures. Interestingly, there seems to be a possible medical use for this plant too.
