@Michael Skorulski: Thanks! A very unusual winter, as the cold is rather dry and we have a lot of sunny days. Usually we would have temperatures around 5°C and constant rain.

@Jen: Yeah, it got quite cold here! Now a slight thaw has set in.

@Kaylin Idora: Düsseldorf's most expensive street with a lot of luxury stores. :)

@JoeB: This ice carries just a few ducks and gulls, I would wait a bit. :-)

@Ronnie 2¢: Düsseldorf's only 'real' boulevard. Has been located in compliment to King Friedrich Wilhelm IV of Prussia, when the Rhine Province became part of Prussia, if I remember correctly. So a litte pomp was quite adequate. :-)
