Namen-Jesu-Kirche, Bonn

For #500 we deserve something special: last Saturday Bonn's Namen-Jesu-Kirche opened its gates (renovation is still going on and this church is actually closed until 2011). Being a former Jesuit church, it's another fine specimen of a Baroque church that combines former architectural styles. In the next days we are going to visit this beautiful place.

Yes, it's a lovely church, a bit unfinished yet, but I was very glad they opened the doors last Saturday.

@Hidalgo: All these churches represent a big part of our history, they condense a lot of the political and religious tensions occuring here that are still sensible. They are a location for contemplation and art as well, that's the reason why I love portraying them. :-)
