Open Air, Almost.

This glass-covered atrium between two buildings in Cologne is a nice location for having a cup of coffee in the small restaurant located there and preparing yourself for a visit of St. Aposteln that is just a few steps away.

(If you wonder why I'm showing rather old shots from the archive: my camera is broken (grrr!) and currently in repair. Some nasty problem, it was producing black images only. *sigh*)

nice perspective and light. It may be not art but I think I could watch this architecture longer and find a hidden meaning to it than the spinning worlds of the other day ;o)

@Laurent: You would find some nasty surprises here, too: very small pillars that seem to carry heavy weights until you find out that their base doesn't touch the ground. Very 90s!

Oh no! Hope it gets fixed soon. Glad I didn't miss this one. It is a great POV and a lovely spot for coffee for sure.

@Tracey: It's so not fair! Fortunately within the term of guarantee. There's a shopping mall in these buildings, a nice place for these cold and rainy days when you like to be outside but don't want to get cold feet. :)
