Sint Nicolaaskerk, Amsterdam: Ceiling

St. Nicholas' cupola (58m / 63yd high) consists of an inner an outer part. The outer part encloses the cupola in the crossing, thus providing a filter for the light coming through. The paintings under the windows were done by Jan Dunselman; they are depicting the legend of St. Nicholas, and their style is heavily inspired by the Nazarene movement.

(Ha, ha!)

Exceptional details MS, this is an awesome shot. Do you have problems with your neck....? I think this angle requires some acrobatic movements.

This is amazing, geometrically lined up it just balances beautifully makes me want to cross an ocean to use that lens. You should explain your mode of shooting to Michael he might be under the impression to you must have to go to a chiropractor on a weekly basis. :)

Many things I'm showing here are unknown to most of my visitors, and this gives reason to me to tell something about it. That's quite self-evident, no? :-)
