St. Heinrich und Kunigunde, Cologne: St. MaryPosted by MadScientist (Düsseldorf, Germany) on 14 June 2010 in Art & Design. Originally coming from an orphanage in Eupen, some excellent historistic found their way to this church. They beautifully illuminate the hall and have great colours. My (old) coffee-table book of selected postings. More MadScientist: eclecticimaging.tumblr.com, the guy behind this blog

@Linerberry: Welcome back, LB! Glad you like it, I'll show another one tomorrow. @António Pires: Many thanks, António! @Ronnie 2¢: Tomorrow comes another one. :-) @Phil David Alexander Morris: You should see me with my shivering hands, taking four, five, six shots of the same scene / window, hoping that at least one will be good enough for further processing. Really, it's no witchcraft, but a matter of slow breathing. :-) @Philip: Thanks a lot, Philip! @jim: Stay tuned, tomorrow comes another one! :-) @B.Held: Another one tomorrow! @Curly: Thanks, Curly! Much appreciated! @Ted: A steady hand will help, but taking this shot, correcting the perspective and adjusting the brightness was no witchcraft! :-) @Steven: This was an extremely lucky situation, as the light from outside was perfect for this kind of shot! @JoeB: Well, everything else would have been embarrasing, wouldn't it! @MARIANA: Glad you enjoy them! @Magda: The best of them is yet to come (Thursday)! @Japanalia: Thanks very much! |
