Notre-Dame du Finistère: Organ

Agreed, the lower part of this shot looks a bit messy, but I've included it for having a scale on the dimensions of this very, very impressive organ of Notre-Dame du Finistère. Unfortunately we missed the regular Monday organ concert; I'm sure the experience would have been breathtaking.

So you've just finished building your church or cathedral after a couple of hundred years and you want a big,kicking organ that will impress and last a couple of years. Costco, IKEA and www have yet to arrive...so where do you go, and who do you trust to design and build one of these...what a challenge it must've been then for aspiring church builders!

The look of this organ marries well the preacher's pulpit in the same church. I think they were
