St. Agnes, Cologne

The 'Taj Mahal of Cologne' (well, sort of) which we were visiting here, here, here, here, here, and also there, is now a nice backdrop for the guests of the Crazy Chicken Grill.

Christine Walsh from Astoria, NY, United States

The light on the church is lovely - a nice reflection on the car.

@Christine Walsh: Shot at one of the very, very, very few sunny days two weeks ago.

I like your here, here, & there to remind of all the rest of the beautiful pictures you have taken of this masterpiece. This view is amazing because of the juxtaposition of elements. The building is a true masterpiece.

@Phil David Alexander Morris: I'm glad they didn't modify its structure as was happening to so many other churches (including total demolition). Having to maintain my own link list is a bit annoying, I'd like to have more editing features here.

MARIANA from Waterloo, Canada

@MARIANA: Cologne's second biggest church after the Cathedral. Very impressive hall, indeed.

@Céline: A bit noisy with too much traffic, unfortunately!

Laurent from Lyon, France

Very nice slim architecture

@Laurent: A surprisingly big church: the second biggest of Cologne.

@akarui: Many thanks, Olivier!

Japanalia from Yokohama, Japan

I see people around, at the entrance...so, it cannot be only about munching on chicken! Glorious architecture outside as well as inside AND that wonderful touch of salmon pink! This is one Old Lady that stays attractive and elegant!

@Japanalia: Yes, I like this one very much. One of the important landmarks you can see well when approaching Cologne by train from south.
