Ah Spring! Went out out see the magnolias here on Sunday, but they hadn't quite opened up yet. Thanks for the preview!

@Damion Coe: It's always surprising what a little distance of a few (90) kilometres does to vegetation. Bonn is at least two weeks ahead.

Oh,dear! Oh,dear! You're killing me with these superb blooms! If I were you.....I'd take the tree home! I love the tall image that gives me the illusion of being just there, on the branch, close and personal!

@Japanalia: Düsseldorf's Magnolias aren't blooming yet! Spring is coming fast, but Bonn is two weeks ahead.

Yes, as of a year ago I had one of these in my front yard. Beautiful and a spicy fragrant - then down come the petals making a mess and clogging the guttes....ah spring! Beautiful light here.
