Brown sandstone for the details and grey limestone for structure. I'm pretty sure both were painted later for giving a more consistent look. Unfortunately the church (St Martin) was closed; I think another visit in this completely refurbished will be rewarding.

@Curly: Trust me - brush your own cathedrals and they will look like this. At least parts of it.

This is purely gorgeous for that little shock of detail of the colors and the blue covering
all working together so beautifully. Love the carving details of the brown sandstone and
wonder what beauties reside in this church. A great photo.
