Behind the Drachenburg, Mr Sarter designed this terrace which allows a wonderful view down into the Rhine valley. The look at Nonnenwerth island is reserved for the old Drachenfels ruin, though. We were sitting under these golden trees, taking sunbath until the sun disappeared behind a persistent cloud. The last sunbath, we thought, not knowing that the sun wouldn't leave us until today. Regarding the weather, this fall is exceptional.
