San'Ivo, revisited

Posted by
MadScientist (Düsseldorf, Germany) on 3 January 2012 in Architecture.

What I didn't know then was that I had taken enough shots to get an even better photo than I would have got by a wide-angle lens. San Ivo is one of Rome's most remarkable churches, and having found enough material for stitching these five years old photos together (praise the authors of PTGui Pro!) was really, really nice.
The missing corners will be filled after our next travel to Rome. :-)

As I think I've opined before, I feel we see more thorough this than we might by standing there. Beautifully presented.

@Ronnie 2¢: This will be especially true for tomorrow's image. :-)
