St Vitus, Mönchengladbach: Altar

Unfortunately the celebration altar of St Vitus is completely undocumented (at least I didn't find anything). It looks a bit too undamaged for being very old, so I guess it's more Neo- than original Gothic. But I like its simple and powerful presence, though.

@Jim: Apart from one of the side chapels this was the brightest place in the church. Note to myself: next time have a tripod at hand.
