Tower of Babel

Thomas Virnich (*1957), a local artist, created this sculpture in front of Mönchengladbach's old city hall. His proliferative colourful sculptures incorporate everyday things and waste material. Since 1992 he is giving lectures at Braunschweig's school of arts.

I doubt I'd like to look out on this every day - it could easily be preserved evidence from a fatal accident Inquiry. I wonder if anyone paid to have their 'product' placed within this.

that's a serious lump of sculpture, especially if it's outside your front window!
