Choir windows of Citykirche, Mönchengladbach

Last year I've introduced Mönchengladbach's City Church (the former St Assumption of Mary) to you, and now we're finally entering this beauty. These are the choir windows of Citykirche, Mönchengladbach. Artwork by Joachim Klos (1932 - 2007) from 1968.

There's nothing as boring as a series of images that spreads over many days. On the other hand I've taken quite a few images in this church. So I'm filling the gaps a bit and post additional shots on other dates of this website. Like this one.

This was a busy week for me and on two days I had to get up way too early in the morning. Will try to catch up with you in the next few days.

Soheil from Tehran, Iran

@Abena: Thank you very much!

I believe that what you managed to do with this shot is to capture the essence of a stained glass window! Remarkable!

@Japanalia: If I would have become an artist, I probably would do stained glass, too. It's such a hidden art, despite the size of these windows.
